Last Lagoon Hurrah!

We had our last trip to Lagoon this season. It was so fun having season passes and going we had a few hours to spare. It was nice that we didn't feel like we had to spend all day there in order to get our monies worth. We will definitely get passes next year to continue the fun! Next year Carter will be able to go on most of the big adult rides. He is excited to ride them, he just has to grow 1.5 inches. Carter and Ashlynn's favorite rides this year were the 'Tidal Wave' and the 'Tilt a Wheel', yes I know the "hurl a wheel". They loved to spin around until we just couldn't laugh any more. Matt and I even got to go without the kids and ride the big rides. I have to say that the Wicked ride is a very intense and fun ride! The Spider and the Colasses Roller Coaster were also up there for fun thrill rides. Until next year... Ashlynn on the Carousel.

This was also the kids favorite ride. It abruptly springs up and down. It was a fun ride to do. The kids would laugh the whole time. Oh, good times!

Black Island Pumpkin Patch

We ventured out to a local pumpkin patch this weekend with a friend from work and her family. The weather was great and we had a fun time with all the activities they had. They even had a little area with animals and games for the kids to play. I loved the little duck races and the huge slides. We even got lost in the ginormous corn maze. The kids had fun at first, but they were getting very worried that we would not be able to get out. It was definitely a challenge to get out. We had the kids convinced that we were going to be eating corn for dinner. Even I was glad to get out! We had a great time!

The Enchanted Woods - The Treehouse Museum

We had a great time at The Enchanted Woods at the Treehouse Museum in Ogden, Utah.The kids were taken on a tour by Rapunzel who read stories and introduced us to many storybook characters. We even got to see a dragon.
The kids loved it because they got to dress up in their Halloween costumes and they got treats and prizes.

The NOT so Haunted House...

We attempted to assemble a Haunted House made out of cookies and candies and it was not successful. After getting frustrated that it kept collapsing my sister-in-law Tracy read the directions and we found out a important step we missed. As Ashlynn says "This is not going so well" And she was right. What a disaster!

So, after the house collapsed again. I pulled out some Gingerbread cookies and the kids got to decorate them. Tracy was assisting with Ashlynn's creation.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Saturday was my 29th birthday (the eternal age). Although, my day did not goes as originally planned due to the one day it had to rain all day long. I felt very thankful that Matt and I could spend a night out without the kids. We have a great time together.

I was so excited that Matt got a bike for me. I have not owned a bike since I was a little girl. Since Carter has been able to ride a bike all he wants to do is go riding. When I go on walks he wants to ride his bike, but he goes much faster and then he has to stop so I can catch up with him. Now we can ride together and he is so excited.

You can tell that Carter has picked up on the crazy photo faces that Matt does.

My niece Jessica made my favorite cake. Angel food cake with strawberries and whip cream. She made the cake from scratch and it was delish. Thanks everyone for making it a great day!

Kangaroo Zoo

This was such a fun place. The miniature golf course was all glow in the dark. The paintings were amazing and it made the whole golfing experience very fun. Carter and Ashlynn making their shots.
