Last Cub Scout Pack Meeting

Carter's 11th Birthday is approaching very quickly...one week to be exact from this pack meeting.  He attended his last cub scout pack meeting.  Some of us are excited..like our sweet Ashlynn.

She has been to almost every cub scout pack meeting. She is such a trooper supporting Carter through all his boy activities.

 Let the games begin...Carter is using all he has to shoot a water balloon to hit the target.

 He was the only one that even hit the board that had the target on it. Way to go!

So close but he was proud of his efforts! 

We are so proud of him for completing all there years of Cub Scouts.  The scouting program teaches these boys knowledge, skill and confidence that they can use in their life. In one week he will officially be part of the 11 year old scouting program.

And then it snowed about an inch after dinner. I knew we would see the snow again before Spring.

A Sunday walk..

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon for a walk. The Dalton's invited us to come along with them. Matt had a church meeting so he couldn't come along, but the kids and I enjoyed our time out with the Dalton's.

Southern Utah Visitors..

 The cousins from the southern part of Utah came to visit us in the North. Yay!! We had lots of fun!

 Afternoon at Castle Park. The boys wondered off exploring a old river bed.

 Then I took these fun shots of them.

Basketball 2014

2014 Basketball Winter season has come to an end.. Sniff..Sniff. We had a fun season watching Carter improve his skills every week. His confidence in this sport showed every week. He scored lots of points each game but encouraged his teammates along the way too.

We our now on a short break until Carter takes golf lessons at the end of the month and baseball starts in May.

 Carter was known to be the one that could make 3 point shots each game.  He would average about 1-2 a game. It takes a lot of power from his legs to make those shots and he made it look so easy.

Serving others..

One of Ashlynn's friends has been sick and home bound all week. She has missed her at school and hanging out with her after school.

Ashlynn came up with the idea to make her this fun tie dye pillow that came in one of her crafting girl kits from Grandma Bobbi.

 She cut it out, stuffed it and tied the ends.

 A perfect little gift for a sick friend to enjoy while stuck in bed.

She made a card and added a pink sucker to the envelope. Then delivered it. What a great example she is to serve others. I am so grateful for her example.
