Our family ventured out to the Church History Museum and enjoyed a tour of the Beehive House this past weekend. It was interesting to hear the little stories of Brigham Young and his family and all that he did in the Salt Lake Valley. The kids enjoyed walking through his old house. Then, we took a look at temple square on top of the Joseph Smith Building. I have never seen the the view without Christmas lights and lots of people around. Still a gorgeous site to see.

One down several more to go...
Carter lost his first tooth today. His tooth has been loose for a week and he was very nervous about when and where the tooth was going to fall out. We are glad to report it happened after dinner when he bit down a little to hard on a piece of celery. (One of the two vegetables he will eat) It came right out without any pulling. Carter is so excited that he doesn't have to worry about it anymore but, there will be more. Oh, the joys we have to come with a very anxious kid.
(Have any pointers Laura? Just joking!)

Park City Adventure
We took a day trip to Park City, UT to enjoy the snow and the sun. It was a beautiful day! Sorry this is out of order, but at the end of the day we headed to Olympic Park and viewed where the bobsledding took place in the Salt Lake Olympics in 2002. They were actually running races when we were there. It was neat to watch it in live action.
This is a far view of the sledding park.
This is the beginning of the hill.
This is the starting place. They are loading the next sled to head down the hill.
The collage below has photos at a tubing hill called Gorgoza Park. They have 7 tubing hills and 4 of them are larger than the others. You really gain speed and fly down the hill. It was a very well runned place to visit. I highly recommend this adventure when in the Salt Area! It is also very kid friendly!
Below are some videos that Matt took at the Tubing Hill.
This is Ashlynn coming off the tube tow. I loved her panic noises. It makes me laugh!

Below is our family going down the hill together. Sorry that I am the close up in the video. Check out Ashlynn toward the end of the video. She makes me laugh how she is swinging her head around. Good Times!

Carter
Check out the drawing that Matt made on the computer of Carter. Not bad! He has always been so talented when it comes to being creative.
Snow Box Play - Gloves Required
On Sunday we had a good snow storm and this is what was left for us to play in. We have had some sunny days and it makes the snow sparkle.
The sky was so blue with white fluffy clouds. It was such a beautiful site I had to take a picture.
