DC Flash Baseball Fall League

The DC Flash Fall Baseball team has come to an end.  Here are some great photos that Elias' Grandpa captured.  Matt put this team together, created the name, jerseys and hats.  He did such a great job with these boys with the help of his friends Dustin and Brad.  We played double header Saturdays and played in a Tournament in Logan.  It was so fun to watch these boys improve and they all have incredible skills that added to this team.

 Matt handed out individual awards to each of the boys.  Carter was awarded "Mr. In-Fielder"

 Then we handed out baseball bats that each of the boys signed.  Matt painted and added the DC Flash name on them to keep as a reminder of this team.

  There was also a highlight video played of all their great plays throughout the season.  The DC Flash Baseball team had a lot to be proud of!

Reflections

This is the first year that the kids entered into the Reflections contest through the school district.  They both chose to make 3D Art.  The Theme was Believe, Dream and Inspire.

 They made these all on their own and had fun entering into the contest.
The district judging is going on now...we will have to wait if any one of them wins.

More Crafting Girls Projects

Ashlynn has been busy finishing up some crafting girl projects that her Grandma Bobbi sends her way.  She loves to create and make things!

First Snow Storm

We had snow falling starting Friday evening and woke up in the morning with it still snowing and it continued until mid-afternoon.  The kids were excited to pull out the snow gear and play outside!  Its always is funny to see how much the kids have grown since the last time they put on their snow gear.  Looks like we will be in the market for some new snow pants and boots. 


This wasn't a ton of snow, but enough to play in.

The neighbor kids were also out joining in on the snow ball wars.

School Attendance Party

The kid's school have quarterly attendance parties throughout the year. If you miss less than a day and half then you can spend the afternoon out of class and PARTY! This time they had a skate party.  The kids could bring scooters or roller blades to stroll around the track.  It was a perfect fall day to enjoy the outside.  Carter's friends forgot their wheels so they played a game of soccer.  It was basically an additional 1 hour recess for them. So, we let another kid borrow Carter's blades.   


The snow tipped mountains look so pretty.  Winter is on it way..whether we are ready or not.

It was also Red Ribbon week and the kids got to wear crazy things throughout the week.   The day of the skate party was wear sunglasses to school day.  Love those glasses Ashlynn! 

Out of School play day

On Nov 1st the kids had a day off from school so by the suggestion of one of my co-workers we headed down to the Gateway Mall to play at the Children's Museum.  We also wanted to see the new Children's ER station too.  We all had a great time playing at all the stations.  The KSL News station and the ER were the big hits during our visit there.  The kids liked being the weather forecasters and seeing themselves on the TV.  It was so funny to watch them!


 

 

Halloween..Boo!

This has been the day we were waiting for..Halloween!  It finally came!

While I was at work Matt stayed at the house and the kids joined different friend groups to go around the neighborhood.  They all had fun with their friends.
